Loki recently spent his Doggy Day Out with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), celebrating National Pet Day a little early. During his visit, he met patrol and correctional deputies, enjoyed plenty of treats, and even “assisted” with some administrative work for Sheriff DeWees.
Beyond the fun, this visit highlights an important partnership. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office relies on the Humane Society of Carroll County and Animal Control Officers for their expertise in protecting animal welfare. Together, they help respond to animal cruelty cases, enforce ordinances, and educate the community.
Loki’s outing showed just how social, adaptable, and people-oriented he is outside the shelter. He’s a friendly dog who enjoys attention and is always happy to accept a treat.
