Happy Tails: Batman (Now Toby)

Batman, now Toby, was adopted in 2024 and has truly found his perfect match. What started as a “laid back, loving, and adaptable” cat has turned out to be so much more—Toby is full of personality, intelligence, and even a little theatrical flair!

From his convincing “starvin’ Marvin” performances (complete with dramatic vocals) to his impressive problem-solving skills, Toby keeps his adopter both entertained and on his toes. He’s learned that sometimes what he really wants isn’t food—it’s attention—and he’s more than happy to let his human know it. These days, he’s on a healthy routine, slimming down, and continuing to shine in every way.

Toby has also taken on life as a boat cat, serving as a dedicated “boatswain,” equally content sailing the water or relaxing at the dock. He’s even learning to wear a harness, opening up a whole new world of adventure. Smart, intuitive, and a little bit of a comedian, Toby has clearly found where he belongs.

In his adopter’s words, “we are both living our best lives.” And honestly—that’s what Happy Tails are all about.
We love seeing updates like this and watching our animals enjoy their new lives. Thank you for giving Toby the happy life he deserves—and for sharing such a wonderful story with us.
