July 10 – Cats & Small Critters Day
Campers will spend the day learning all about cats and small companion animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, and more! From feline body language and enrichment to proper care for pocket pets, participants will discover what makes these animals unique. Campers may help create toys and enrichment items, meet adoptable animals, and learn how shelters care for cats and small critters while they wait for homes.

July 17 – Dogs & Farm Animals Day
Get ready for a tail-wagging day of fun! Campers will learn about dog behavior, training, enrichment, and responsible pet ownership while also exploring the world of farm animals. From goats and sheep to chickens and more, participants will discover how different animals are cared for and the important roles they play. Hands-on activities, animal interactions, and games will make this an exciting day for animal lovers of all kinds.

July 24 – Wildlife & Reptile Day
Wild things await! Campers will explore the fascinating world of native wildlife and reptiles while learning about conservation, rehabilitation, and respecting animals in their natural habitats. Participants will discover the differences between wild and domestic animals, meet some scaly reptile ambassadors, and learn how shelters and wildlife organizations help animals in need. Perfect for curious campers who love nature and adventure!

July 31 – Future Animal Heroes Day
Calling all future veterinarians, animal control officers, shelter workers, trainers, rescuers, and advocates! This special day gives campers a behind-the-scenes look at careers that help animals every day. Participants will learn about animal safety, rescue work, shelter operations, veterinary care, and ways they can become advocates for animals in their own communities. Campers will also explore the world of shelter marketing and adoption events by learning how to promote adoptable animals, create eye-catching event ideas, and help plan successful adoption events that connect pets with loving families. Through fun activities and interactive learning, campers will discover how they can make a difference for animals now and in the future.
