While certain animal control services at the Humane Society of Carroll County (HSCC) receive partial funding from Carroll County, HSCC, a 501I3 nonprofit, exists to compassionately care for and advocate on behalf of the county’s homeless pets.
Support from the community as a whole plays a vital role. Without this generosity, HSCC would be unable to provide the medical treatment, nutritious food, safe shelter, and loving hands-on care that unclaimed animals need while they wait for new beginnings.
Together, the Humane Society of Carroll County and its Board of Directors proudly give hope, healing, and a second chance to every adoptable pet entrusted to us, until they find a home of their own.
The Humane Society of Carroll County’s Board of Directors is a group of dedicated individuals who volunteer their time to help advance the mission of HSCC and advocate for the organization. The Board focuses on organizational governance and strategic planning and entrusts the operation of the organization to the staff of HSCC.
If you are interested in joining the Board of Directors or one of our committees, please contact HSCC Executive Director Jaime Limoges.
