A Festival For Everyone

Every June, the Humane Society of Carroll County brings the community together for one of our most anticipated events of the year — Woofstock — and this year’s celebration at Taneytown Memorial Park was a wonderful day of music, animals, and community.

As our second largest fundraiser of the year, Woofstock plays a vital role in helping us continue our lifesaving work for homeless and neglected animals.

With free admission and something for all ages, Woofstock truly lived up to its reputation as a pet- and family-friendly festival. Guests enjoyed a large vendor fair featuring more than 75 local businesses, artists, and pet-focused brands, making it a perfect place to shop small while supporting animals.

Our stage was brought to life by the sounds of Best Regards, whose live music kept the park filled with great energy throughout the day.

Animals at the Heart of It All

At its core, Woofstock is about the animals. The event featured local animal rescues, adoptable pets, and meet-and-greets with animals looking for loving homes. Visitors had the chance to connect with rescue groups, see animal demonstrations, learn about adoption, and spend time with amazing animals.

One of the day’s favorite activities was Puppy Yoga, which gave guests a chance to stretch, relax, and cuddle with adorable puppies.

Food, Fun, and Four-Legged Friends

From food trucks serving up delicious meals and treats to a car show showcasing classic and custom vehicles, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Visitors walked the park with their dogs, spent time with family and friends, and soaked in the festival atmosphere.

At the HSCC merchandise table, supporters picked up shelter swag, and many participated in our raffle prizes, helping support our animals in another meaningful way.
