DESCRIPTION:Former Towson Walmart Transformed into Mega Pet Adoption Event\n“Find Your Lucky Charm” Brings Multiple Shelters Together March 15\nTowson, MD — An empty retail space at Towson Place Shopping Center will soon be filled with\nwagging tails, purring cats, and hopeful adopters as local animal shelters transform the former\nWalmart into a large-scale adoption event.\nOn Sunday, March 15 from 12–4 PM, the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS)\nwill host “Find Your Lucky Charm,” a multi-shelter mega adoption event sponsored by Petco\nLove and held in a vacant storefront generously provided by Kimco Realty.\nFor one afternoon, the former big-box store will be reimagined as a pop-up adoption center,\nbringing together more than a hundred adoptable animals from across the region in one space.\nParticipating organizations include:\n● Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS)\n● Maryland SPCA\n● Baltimore County Animal Services\n● Humane Society of Carroll County\n● Humane Society of Harford County\nAdoption fees will be waived for all animals in attendance, including dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, and small companion animals.\n \n**Please note our puppies’ adoption fees will be waived at this event; however, adopters must provide a $200 spay/neuter deposit, which is refunded once the puppy is spayed/neutered.\nPuppy adoptions from the Humane Society of Carroll County will include:• Spay/neuter (completed at our facility in Westminster)• Microchip• Age-appropriate vaccines• Deworming• Flea/tick preventative\n\n
